A popular horror novelist, researching his latest book, takes four of his friends to a remote cabin in the woods for an “ironic” weekend of Satanic rituals.  But the plans for a fun weekend of pretend evil take a horrific turn when an accidental human sacrifice summons Satan’s murderous spirit to the Earth!

SATAN CAMP is written by Richard Lovejoy and is to be directed by Jonathan Scott Chinn.  Charred Oak Films plans to produce the movie, with a cast featuring the well-known NYC actress/dancer/burlesque performer Julie Atlas Muz, Richard Lovejoy, Kent Meister, plus several cult horror favorites in cameo roles.

Jake & Jonathan are best friends whose wives both die in a tragic accident, severely testing their lifelong relationship.  When Jonathan drags the reluctant Jake to a grief-counseling retreat for young widowers, dark secrets begin to surface.

Pre-production is underway on this comedy/drama written by Richard Lovejoy, with plans for shooting to begin in May 2012.

Director Jonathan Scott Chinn is currently preparing to begin shooting a personal documentary about the quirky people and surprising stories he experienced as a child performer growing up in Oklahoma during the 80s and 90s.  Filmed reminiscences, home movies and archival performances, and cinematic re-creations will tell stories of small-town glory, creative struggle, and frustrated ambition.
